About me
I am a PhD Student (2022- ) at the Department of Political Science at the University of Gothenburg. During the Spring 2026 I was a visiting PhD Student at at MilaNLP at Bocconi University, during the autumn 2026 I will be a a visiting the Department of Political Science at the University of Copenhagen.
I am broadly interested in how machine learning and unstructured data can be used to better understand politics. In my dissertation, I use NLP methods to study polarization through social media posts and parliamentary speeches. Other than this I am interested in geographical representation, and I also work with historical data. My work has appeared in The Journal of Politics and Political Geography.
